Design features: tunable with a conical inner channel, keys for low C# and C. Fully chromatic flute. The fingering is similar to the tenor recorder C.

Transverse flute – one of the oldest varieties of flutes. The first surviving mention are about 150 BC the Etruscan relief.
The transverse flute is the ancestor of the modern orchestral flute.
